NCDEX Kapas futures rose Monday on extended buying by the traders on the back of firm demand in the domestic markets. In NCDEX kapas February contract hits upper circuit at Rs.847.70 per 20 Kg, higher by 3.99 per cent against the previous close.
In the morning session the contract traded at a range of Rs.826.70-847.70 per quintal. Open interest of the contract stood at 56 lots and volume traded is 70 lots. According to analysts thin supply and pick-up in demand in physical markets, mainly led the rise here in Kapas futures prices.
